Twitch and the Witch

Hello and welcome, dear wanderer of the whimsicowl!

I’m Christine Bull - author, creator, and word witch behind Twitch and the Witch rhyming picture book series.
I’ve always been a storyteller. As a child, I’d stop to smell the roses (literally), and listen for fairies in the hedgerows. That sense of wonder has only grown stronger.

I am a musician and play in The Bristol String Quartet as well as other freelance performances, I also teach piano. In my spare time I talk to trees, and follow the rhythm of the seasons. This path has taken me through reiki, sound healing, shamanic work, and now into the enchanted realm of books, owls, and handmade magic.

These days, every chance I get, I enjoy writing rhyming stories for children, and learning how to use modern technology to illustrate them and also to write songs. My goal? To help others reconnect with nature, remember their own magic, and feel joy in the little things.
